Editorial Policy
Editorial Policy
Online38Media publishes English-language news, analysis and explainers for an international audience, with particular attention to developments relevant to readers in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and other major markets.
Accuracy and sourcing
We verify important claims against reliable sources before publication. Primary sources are preferred for government actions, regulations, corporate announcements, financial disclosures, statistics, product releases and other facts that can be checked directly. Secondary reporting is attributed where appropriate.
Headlines and updates
Headlines should accurately reflect the article and avoid misleading promises, invented urgency or unsupported conclusions. We do not change publication dates merely to make old material appear new. When a story develops, we may update the article and its modified date to reflect substantive changes.
Original value
Articles should add useful context, explanation, comparison, timelines, data or practical implications. We do not publish copied articles, lightly rewritten wire stories or pages created only to target search keywords.
Commercial influence
Editorial decisions should remain separate from advertising relationships. Sponsored content, affiliate relationships or other commercial arrangements, if used, will be disclosed clearly.
Corrections
Material factual errors are corrected as soon as reasonably possible. Significant corrections may include a note explaining what changed.
